Chose her own name when she was six and apparently regrets the choice, insisting on "Rory." [[elements:Pax Machina]] implies that her parentage is unknown. Her skiff was destroyed in Piece of Mind, but she was last seen piloting [[Tsaibei Hrotan]]'s pleasure yacht.
