Percy is a typical maned wolf but he's missing the smallest finger from his left paw.
He lost the finger when he got caught poaching. Moshi took a finger from everyone he caught, rather than killing them. Percy has been thankful ever since and he's one of Moshi's few real friends. The two exchange letters frequently.
