The particular group of avians Treeklak is a part of have decided to not attempt to emulate the various letters not easily reproduced without lips, and instead has developed a vocabulary, and a selection of turns of phrase, which do not use sounds like p, b, and f. This is in contrast to the group portrayed in A Journey to the Skies which does show the desire to fully emulate spoken English.
